Kim V. Engelmann is an author of seven books. She frequently speaks at local conferences and retreats. Growing up on the East Coast, she worked in many pastoral settings, including work as the chaplain in a psychiatric hospital and a general hospital, and serving churches in urban and rural settings.
She holds a doctorate in Ministry from Boston University, a masters in Divinity (New Testament) from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's Degree from Barnard College. Her special interest and doctoral concentration is in the area of pastoral care with children.

Kim and her family enjoy trips to the ocean, skiing, swimming, camping, baseball, horses, caring for their pets, and reading books by the fire on a windy night!
